Which Chris Chan series should I start with?

Chris Chan has 125 books catalogued in this guide, published between 2015 and 2026. 97 of them belong to 7 named series — the largest being the Mystery, Crime, and Mayhem series with 26 books — and 28 are standalone titles, collections or anthologies.
In what order should Chris Chan's series be read?
Read each series in publication order — the numbered entries in each series follow the year each book first appeared. Chris Chan's series do not depend on one another, so they can be started in any order; by start date they are Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson: The Early Adventures (2019, 3 books), Mystery, Crime, and Mayhem (2020–2026, 26 books) and Sherlock's Secretary (2021–2023, 2 books), plus 3 more.
