Chris Bradford is an English author best known for his award winning Young Samurai series. The author is particularly well suited to write this series as he is trained in samurai swordmanship, karate, ninjutsu and earned his black belt in Zen Kyu Shin Taijutsu. The series began in 2008 with the release of The Way of the Warrior. He is also the author of the Bodyguard series about a young teenaged bodyguard who protects the daughter of the President of the United States. This was another scenario where the author studied the things that he was writing about in order to create a more authentic book. He went to a close protection course and earned his qualification as a professional bodyguard.
