Celia Aaron

Unlike many authors, she does not remember a particular time when she got the inspiration to pen her debut novel. Similar to many fiction authors, Celia Aaron does not have a very typical lifestyle. As an author and stay-at-home mother, she has to take care of a five-year-old and a seven-year-old and also do some basic housekeeping.

The best place to start is the Acquisition series, the earliest of Celia Aaron's multi-book series: it opens with Counsellor (2015) and runs to 5 books across 2015–2021, ending with Lucius (2021). Celia Aaron's other series stand alone, so they can be read in any order.

Celia Aaron has 48 books catalogued in this guide, published between 2012 and 2026. 32 of them belong to 11 named series — the largest being the Acquisition series with 5 books — and 16 are standalone titles, collections or anthologies.

Read each series in publication order — the numbered entries in each series follow the year each book first appeared. Celia Aaron's series do not depend on one another, so they can be started in any order; by start date they are Acquisition (2015–2021, 5 books), Forced (2015–2016, 5 books) and The Hard and Dirty Holidays (2015–2016, 5 books), plus 8 more.

This guide splits Celia Aaron's 48 books into 11 named series and 16 titles that stand alone or appear only in collections: Acquisition (5 books, 2015–2021); Forced (5 books, 2015–2016); The Hard and Dirty Holidays (5 books, 2015–2016); The Cloister Trilogy (3 books, 2018); Dark Protector (3 books, 2017–2019), plus 6 further series.
