Cathy Williams

Cathy Williams is a bestselling romance author from Warwickshire in the United Kingdom. The author was born in the West Indies on the small island of Trinidad where she spent much of her childhood. The author is a great believer in the power of perseverance as she has said that before she became a successful author she had never written anything apart from the high school essays that were required of everyone.

The best place to start is the Island Romances series, the earliest of Cathy Williams's multi-book series: it opens with Charade of the Heart (1992) and runs to 3 books across 1992–1999, ending with The Thirty Day Seduction (1999). Cathy Williams's other series stand alone, so they can be read in any order.

Cathy Williams has 610 books catalogued in this guide, published between 1970 and 2023. 543 of them belong to 36 named series — the largest being the Mistress to a Millionaire series with 28 books — and 67 are standalone titles, collections or anthologies.

Read each series in publication order — the numbered entries in each series follow the year each book first appeared. Cathy Williams's series do not depend on one another, so they can be started in any order; by start date they are Island Romances (1992–1999, 3 books), Nanny Wanted! (1996–1999, 14 books) and From Here to Paternity (1996–1997, 10 books), plus 27 more.

This guide splits Cathy Williams's 610 books into 36 named series and 67 titles that stand alone or appear only in collections: Mistress to a Millionaire (28 books, 2001–2008); Bedded by Blackmail (22 books, 2003–2009); Foreign Affairs (21 books, 2001–2012); Latin Lovers (21 books, 1999–2022); In Bed With The Boss (16 books, 2006–2011), plus 31 further series.
