She has authored dozens of novels and several series, as well as contributing to several multi-author collections.

The best place to start is the Bennett Family series, the earliest of Carole Mortimer's multi-book series: it opens with To Love Again (1988) and runs to 4 books across 1988–1990, ending with A Christmas Affair (1990). Carole Mortimer's other series stand alone, so they can be read in any order.

Read each series in publication order — the numbered entries in each series follow the year each book first appeared.
