Brent Towns

Brent Towns is the author of the long running Team Reaper book series. He began his writing career in 2015 and has written over 50 stories and scribed over a dozen commando comics. He co-authored two books with his wife of more than 20 years, Samantha.

The best place to start is The War Torn series, the earliest of Brent Towns's multi-book series: it opens with The Brave and the Lonely (1982) and runs to 6 books across 1982–2021, ending with The Slaughter and the Terror (2021). Brent Towns's other series stand alone, so they can be read in any order.

Brent Towns has 113 books catalogued in this guide, published between 1982 and 2026. 110 of them belong to 14 named series — the largest being the Black Horse Western series with 41 books — and 3 are standalone titles, collections or anthologies.

Read each series in publication order — the numbered entries in each series follow the year each book first appeared. Brent Towns's series do not depend on one another, so they can be started in any order; by start date they are The War Torn (1982–2021, 6 books), Black Horse Western (2006–2020, 41 books) and Company C. (2012–2018, 3 books), plus 11 more.
