Brad Meltzer is a best selling American author who has written non-fiction and crime fiction. He is also a television show creator and a comic book writer. He is a New York Times #1 Best Seller of a total of seven books. He was born April 1, 1970. He grew up in Brooklyn and Miami. His father worked in the garment industry until they moved to Florida. His father began selling insurance and his mother found work in a furniture store. Brad has said writing creatively has always been a big part of his life. Meltzer graduated from the North Miami Beach Senior High School in 1988. He then attended the University of Michigan. At nineteen he went to Washington D.C. to intern on Capitol Hill.
