Moats has lost several of his original short stories, most of which were either handwritten or typed. These stories and plays when Moats was relocating from Michigan to Las Vegas then back again to Michigan. Bob Moats is widely known for the Crystal Prison of Kyr, a short fantasy novel. Bob Moats is also a published playwright as well. In the year 2009, Moats was unemployed. Thus, he opted to use this time to pursue his lifelong career of being an author. During this period, Bob Moats began working on his novel, the Classmates Murder. Eventually, a 20 book series followed. The classmates introduce the readers to one Jim Richards, the protagonist. On. Bob Moats is the author of over 88 books across 11 series.
