About the Author
Bernard is a decorated police officer and has served in a variety of roles during his time in the service including as a patrolman, detective and narcotics officer. He is considered to be an expert witness in possession with intent to distribute controlled substances cases. In an earlier life, Bernard was a child actor known as BJ Schaffer. He appeared in multiple television commercials, did a skit on Saturday Night Live, and was a regular cast member on the Nickelodeon series “Don’t Just Sit There.” At one point he was making $1800 per week more than his father made as a cop, but it eventually came to an end by the time that he was 14. He eventually settled into a more normal life until he went to the Police Academy and eventually become a cop. He is a police detective in the Philadelphia. Bernard Schaffer is the author of over 26 books across 10 series.
