About Aravind Adiga

Aravind began his journalism career as a financial journalist, interning with the Financial Times. He covered investment and the stock market. After that, he got hired by TIME, where he stayed a South Asia correspondent for three years before he went freelance. During this period of freelance, he wrote “The White Tiger”. Aravind’s articles have appeared such places as the Financial Times, The New Yorker, the Financial Times, the Sunday Times, and the Times of India. When Aravind was fifteen, his mom died and his dad emigrated to Australia, where Adiga finished his schooling. Adiga studied English literature at Columbia and Oxford. His earliest passion was French literature from the nineteenth century, especially Emile Zola.
