About the Author
Ann Granger is a British author of crime fiction. Born in 1939, she started out writing historical romance novels using the pen name of Ann Hulme. She first used her nom de plume with the publication of A Poor Relation, her 1979 novel. Ann Granger attended the University of London, where she earned her degree in Modern Languages. After she graduated from the University of London, she went to France for a year to teach English. After that, she went on to work at British consulates as well as embassies in different European countries that included Prague, Munich, and Lusaka. She met her husband while posted in Prague as they both were working for the British embassy there. After school, she got married and ended up living in Germany and Zambia before returning once more to Oxfordshire in Eng. Ann Granger is the author of over 46 books across 6 series. Their most famous work is the Publication Order of Mitchell and Markby Books series, which has garnered millions of readers worldwide.
