ⓘ About Andrew Gross
The follow up to the second book in the series, Lindsay must rush to save survivors of a blast when a family house blows up. This time her foe is called the August Spies, a group of killers who have a vow to murder every three days. Over and over, they choose to target political figures. Lindsay must team up with the San Francisco Police Department, Claire the Medical Examiner, Cindy the Chronicle Reporter, and Jill the Assistant District Attorney to tackle the case and find the culprit. But not all of their team may make it out alive. But the case continues to be cracked, leading the remaining ladies to find a lead in the case and break open a cover up that happened years ago and just might be tied to the origin of the August Spies.
