Amanda Stevens

Amanda Stevens is an incredibly productive author, who managed to write over fifty novels, starting from a very early age. She was born in Arkansas, in the foothills of the Ozarks. The area she was born in already suggested what could have been of her future: it was a place renowned for its superstition and folklore, the two things that fascinates Stevens the most.

The best place to start is the Eden's Children series, the earliest of Amanda Stevens's multi-book series: it opens with The Tempted (1985) and runs to 3 books across 1985–2001, ending with The Forgiven (2001). Amanda Stevens's other series stand alone, so they can be read in any order.

Amanda Stevens has 247 books catalogued in this guide, published between 1985 and 2026. 208 of them belong to 19 named series — the largest being the Dangerous Men series with 12 books — and 39 are standalone titles, collections or anthologies.

Read each series in publication order — the numbered entries in each series follow the year each book first appeared. Amanda Stevens's series do not depend on one another, so they can be started in any order; by start date they are Eden's Children (1985–2001, 3 books), Memory Away (1991–2000, 7 books) and Dangerous Men (1995–2004, 12 books), plus 12 more.

This guide splits Amanda Stevens's 247 books into 19 named series and 39 titles that stand alone or appear only in collections: Dangerous Men (12 books, 1995–2004); Her Protector (11 books, 1995–1999); Colorado Confidential (9 books, 2003–2014); Graveyard Queen (7 books, 2011–2017); Memory Away (7 books, 1991–2000), plus 14 further series.
