Adrienne Toolewy is an American author out of California. She made her debut as a novelist in 2021 with the release of Sweet & Bitter Magic. She grew up in California in the desert suburbs before going to Pittsburgh to study musical theater. She made her way to New York after graduation and now makes her home in Brooklyn with her wife. She attended Point Park University and graduated with her B.A. in Musical Theatre. In addition to her work as an author, Adrienne is also a singer/songwriter who has released three EPs. All three of them were in the indie-folk genre. Sweet & Bitter Magic follows Tamsin, the most powerful witch of her generation. However, she is exiled from her Coven after committing what is considered to be the worst magical sin.
